Sangria

Charlotte is currently experiencing technical difficulties, so to not lose the small amount of momentum we have going I thought I would go ahead and do another post.

While you probably wouldn't pick it on this rainy, windy day, summer is taking hold of Fremantle. The temperatures are creeping into the mid thirties on a good day over here, so I've been spending a bit of time at the beach whenever I can get there. It's really the best time of year here now - warm but not sun stroke inducing (learnt that lesson last summer..), the water is crisp and the flies aren't yet out in full force!

We chose one of these beautiful days to check out the Beaufort Street Festival - the largest street festival to be held in W.A. . Shops spilled out into the streets, performers, food stalls and art filled any spaces available. We had delicious nachos, managed to spot Wally amongst the crowd and picked up a couple of bargains along the way.

I've stolen the photos below from the festival's Facebook page. A photo booth was on the sidewalk, uploading digital photos to the event's page. As there was no flash to let you know the photo had been taken I think there's more than a couple of not ready shots in the album!

After the festival we had dinner at La Cholita in Northbridge. La Cholita is an amazing mexican place, that is heavy on the Tequila - their menu is an A3 size piece of paper, of which one whole side is dedicated to Tequila! We got stuck right in to the Sangria. The restaurant has a great fit out with gigantic mexican themed bombings on the walls. We were still in the restaurant while planning our next visit!

As far as recent purchases go, there's been a heap of Christmas presents, but I can't put those up here! I've been making quite a few small purchases for myself - quite literally buying some smalls. Now, I'm not going to go all Tiah Eckhardt on you, because frankly my body is no where near as bangin' as her's. Instead you get the flat lay below.

The gorgeous boy also got himself firmly planted in the good books with this little stunner. Crazy crochet deliciousness as a "Just Because" present. He's a keeper.

Anyway, that's it from me for now.
Over and out!
